For only the second time, the arena floor of the Albert Hall will be frozen over, on this occasion to host a show by the Imperial Ice Stars (25 years ago the John Curry Symphony on ice was staged there). Tony Mercer has choreographed this production, which features some spectacular moves from world-class skaters, including Olympic gold medallist Evgeny Platov and ice dancing World Champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski, plus a recorded augmented by a 20-piece live orchestra. The story set in frozen Siberia unfolds against an art deco set.
