Inspired by 'Frank Auerbach, London Buildings Sites 1952-62' at The Courtauld Gallery, artist Chris Lawley (his work pictured) leads an exploratory painting and drawing workshop. Students are invited to experiment on multiple pieces working between site and studio throughout the day, building up textured and complex surfaces, which record the process of observation, and decision making.
