A real German Christmas market along Queen's Walk (from the Southbank Centre to the London Eye) with decorated wooden chalets selling a wide range of hand-crafted gifts and German delicacies such as Gl¸hwein (mulled wine), bratwurst and Kˆlsch (famous Cologne beer). In the centre of the market there's a carousel and tucked away among the chalets lies Santa's Secret Village (£10-£15 plus booking fee, to include stories, gift and photograph for one child with an adult, extra adults £6 each; booking essential, at santas-secret-village.co.uk).
