The Shakespeare Olympics begin April 22 at the Globe
The riverside walkway becomes a sandy beach with loungers, parasols, a volleyball court and bar. Organised by The Greek National Tourist Organisation, the event includes days dedicated to the gastronomy, music and dance of various Greek islands (Rhodes June 19; Crete June 20, 25; Halkidiki June 26). Beach sports and family entertainment take place each day; free samples of Greek cuisine are also on offer (daily 1-1.30pm).

What is 'following'?It was really nice to lay down on the sun beds, hearing live Greek music and see Greek dancers, people was dancing as well, try the Greek food, play beach voley, drink a frappe coffee and finally you get a goody bag with greek products like olive oil, roasted peppers, hats, sweets etc. Finally you can take some leaflets for parts of Greece you can visit and book trips to Greece in special prices. I wish it was every day!!!
