Gorilla Circus take kids and adults through the basics of aerial circus skills, either in a structured class or a single-swing Try 'n' Fly taster session. The open-air trapeze contraption consists of two swings 25ft up. Adults and children alike gather for the 90min session - which sees you progress from hooking your legs over your head and hanging upside down to getting caught by an acrobat. Of course there's a safety net below and all 'flyers' are fitted with a safety belt which is attached at the other end to an instructor who'll try to take your weight should you fall - fine for the young ones, but be warned: more mature acrobats can hit the net quite heavily. Age 3+ (for Try 'n' Fly) or age 6+ (for classes, although special arrangements can be made for birthday parties or otheractivities). Three classes per day are available for 12 to 17 year olds, priced £2. Booking recommended.
