The annual service in which around 60 clowns, dressed in full costume, gather to honour the king of the clowns, Joseph Grimaldi (1778-1837), will be conducted by the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin. After the colourful service a free clown show takes place in the school hall over the road. Arrive early to get a seat - it's a popular event and the church often overflows.
