For every blockbuster exhibition and Royal Park in London there's a quirky museum and secret garden. Our galleries reveal the capital's hidden treasures.
A series of tours introducing the city's smaller museums and attractions are available to download. The tours, created by the Campaign for Museums with the Mayor of London and the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, take from half to a full day to complete and include information on refreshment stops and family-friendly features. All 12 trails have maps and six have audio narration by famous voices, including Diarmuid Gavin on historic gardens, Trevor McDonald on immigration and Iain Sinclair on literary houses. The latest trail follows 'Style, design and fashion' in Notting Hill, and the sports museums trail has been updated to include the new Wembley and Arsenal stadiums.
