Time Out says Rate it

An exhibition about the history, traditions and culture of the folding fan in Japan. The fan as cooling device, communication tool, symbol of status, fine art object and even weapon is examined in this show, which includes historical examples and contemporary fans or fan-shaped canvases by British and Japanese artists.
