As part of redevelopment plans the on-site consultation suite showing models and films about future plans is open every Saturday in August but possibly of more interest is the chance to look around and inside parts of the iconic Art Deco building. These tours are in fact self-guided walks following a set route but there are information points along the way and members of staff are on hand to answer questions. You're advised to wear sensible shoes. Numbers are limited and the walks can't go ahead in bad weather. If in doubt, phone ahead. Over-10s only, under-18s must be accompanied.
