World Press Photo Exhibition 2011

This annual exhibition, held since 1955, showcases examples of the best photojournalism of the past year, on world events as well as sports and nature shots. This year's overall winner is Jodi Bieber, with her haunting image of 18 year old Bibi Aisha, who had her ears and nose cut off as punishment for running away from her violent inlaws in Afghanistan.
