The parade of Irish floats begins its amble from Park Lane, through Piccadilly and down to Whitehall at 12noon with musicians, dancers and community representatives. In Trafalgar Square there will be music on stage and Leicester Square plays host to an outdoor ceilidh with Irish dancing. Covent Garden hosts a two-day food fair selling the likes of farmhouse cheeses, soda bread, smoked fish and oysters (Sat & Sun).
