Public event to celebrate Eid ul-fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, organised by Muslim organisations with the support of the Mayor's office. Performers at the event, which is expected to attract an audience of thousands, include north London singer songwriter Amir Awan and the Pearls of Islam, two young female artists who combine traditional instruments with contemporary rap or poetry. The celebration will also include a street bazaar, food stalls and displays about Islam.
