Which is better to skate at The Tower of London or Natural History Museum?

Thank you to Pipa who warned that Hampstead Heath will not have ice skating this year. Have just confirmed this is true - but nowhere else is this mentioned. I hope others do not show up expecting an ice rink in Parliament Hill Fields. What a shame it's not happening, and a shame it is still being publicised as it it is.

    Hi,
afraid you got it wrong, friend. Although advertised, there is no ice rink on Hampstead Heath this year. I checked with the number you sent .A real shame as a beautiful setting....

I have tried all the London ice skating rinks (inc outdoor) and although I enjoy the central and outdoor rinks they are usually too crowded! I would seriously advise trying Lee Vally Ice Skating Ice Rink its only £6.50 per adult and its Olympic in size! (",)

Can we go and physically buy the tickets for the Somerset House ice rink from Somerset House?? The website just mentions getting tickets through credit card/phone call.

Can anyone confirm whether there is or isn't a rink on Hampstead Heath this year? And if there is where to book tickets? Many thanks.

Hi Laura, yes you do, well unless its during the day Monday to Friday. Amazingly a lot of these will already be booked up til end Dec so book now if you are keen. Out of all of them, I would say Hampton Court is the best

Do you have to book in advance?

The ice rinks here are dreadful! I skated loads when I was younger but even I find it difficult and not enjoyable at all here, the ice is too hard, the skates are very blunt and the rinks are so over-packed to the point of being dangerous! Ive tried all the London ones and they are all pants!
