The Halloween of Cross Bones XIA ritual drama to honour The Goose, a mysterious character said to be
buried alongside the prostitutes, paupers and other outcasts in the
Cross Bones Graveyard. This performance of songs and poems from John
Constable’s ‘The Southwark Mysteries’, spiced with spooky tales and
bawdy humour, ends in a candlelit procession to the graveyard.

Haunted Park WalkThis event features an installation by Alex May and Martin A Smith,
whose video projection and spine-chilling sound design recreate
Japanese Kaidan gatherings, at which 100 candles are lit and slowly
extinguished following the telling of successive ghost stories.

London Ghost Festival
London Paranormal hosts the capital’s first ever ghost festival,
featuring walks, public investigations, talks and ghost-themed events
at venues across London. Highlights include a seven-hour ghost hunt at
Harrow Museum on Halloween Night and a ghostly family boat trip through
a ‘haunted’ Islington tunnel on the same day.

Silent CinemaSettle
in to the screening room at this upmarket hotel with a pair of wireless
headphones that screen out unwanted popcorn-munching and chatty
movie-goers. Tickets include a drink, there are nibbles created by the
