The exhibition plots a nebulous path through various miscellaneous or often rather whimsical concepts - taxonomy, botanical cultivation, a floating 'embassy' for communicating with dolphins - while spuriously trying to tie them together into some kind of history of nature-related art. As a result, and despite some occasionally interesting works, 'Radical Nature' is ultimately rather disappointing, a curious mix of the didactic and the directionless. (GC)

You recommend this as a critics choice in top 25 things to do before the end of summer...then the write up above doesn't really sell it. Is it worth going to?
