Luke Cornish: Louder than Words

Cornish's striking photographic paintings are created from handmade stencils inspired by the Australian artist’s travels to refugee camps in Lebanon. Cornish incorporates street elements into his work, which, here, expresses the unfortunate banality of displacement and suffering, and yet celebrates the resilience of communities and the strength of hope in the midst of collapsing societies.
