Melanie Manchot: The Gift

For the final commission in The Homecoming series, which explores the history and architecture of the City of London, the London-based artist will present a four-channel video and photography installation. Considering the inherent communities of the City like gardeners, students and tailors, Manchot’s work questions these hidden professions through an engaging and provocative environment that incorporates a live television debate featuring writer Miranda Sawyer and Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic.
