Park Chan-kyong and Lina Selander

Practice International, a research-based project that explores internationalism, have curated this two-person presentation of Swedish artist Lina Selander and Korean artist and film-maker Park Chan-kyong. Both artists explore collective imaginations through the format of documentary and the visual essay. In ‘Open System: Silphium and Other Works’ Selander presents three recent films that consider the materiality of the image. While Chan-kyong offers a new view of shamanism and utopian religious communities from the cold war to today in ‘Pa-Gyong: Last Sutra Recitation’.
