Established in 2008, this annual photographic award has become a globally recognized platform for raising awareness of social and environmental issues through remarkable photographers. This year’s exhibition focuses on ‘consumption’ and presents 70 works by 11 photographers from nine countries. The winner will be annoucned on the 21 May.
The finalists are: Adam Bartos (United States), Motoyuki Daifu (Japan), Rineke Dijkstra (Netherlands), Hong Hao (China), Mishka Henner (United Kingdom), Juan Fernando Herrán (Colombia), Boris Mikhailov (Ukraine), Abraham Oghobase (Nigeria), Michael Schmidt (Germany), Allan Sekula (United States), and Laurie Simmons (United States).
