Time Out says

A permanent exhibition looking at the Home Front during WWII through the eyes of the Allpress family, who lived in Wandsworth. This family-friendly show takes the experiences of Harry Allpress, the last surviving child of ten born to William and Alice Allpress, as a starting point to explore the lives of British families during the preparations for war, through the Blitz, to D-Day.

Please note: the Imperial War Museum will be closed from Jan 2, 2013 until July 2013 to allow for the transformation of its WWI galleries in time for the centenary of the Great War in 2014.
