If your tot was operating an iPad on birth, you might want to enroll them in Codasign's Scratch and MaKey MaKey workshops. The creative technology education company is hoping to encourage tech-savvy children aged between 6 and 12 to learn how to code, as well as how to use real objects in interactive design. A programme called Scratch is used to demonstrate how to make an animation or game, while MaKey MaKey is used to virtually transform a physical object into a digital game. Adults must accompany children – though one adult can be responsible for up to three children. See www.codasign.com/events for more information.
