Time Out says

The history of cut flowers from the seventeenth century to today is explored in this expansive Garden Museum exhibition. The show starts by looking back at Covent Garden's role in the world flower trade boom and displays films and art relating to the flower market. The exhibition also follows the story of the cut flower, from a simple decoration in great houses (bought from local gardeners) to a requisite part of weddings, funerals and occasions (available in supermarkets, petrol stations and on almost every high street). Finally, 'Floriculture' covers the art of floristry and floral design, as well as cut flowers as an inspiration and subject for art.
