A month of adventurous activities make up this exploration of insects and our relationship with them, and nearly all of them are free. Pestival, the cultural organisation set up to explore our relationship with the natural world, has worked with the Wellcome to come up with some great events, among them 'Insects Au Gratin' workshops, which explore the future of food (including 3D food printing) and the consumption of insects as a potential alternative to traditional livestock, and 'Insects vs Humans', in which leading scientists and thinkers debate the effect of insects and humans on planetary and human health in 'Who is more of a pest?'.
