Food was great and service and friendly atmosphere all round, however, either the pipes were not cleaned properly or a dodgy barrel was the cause, as all 3 of us went home after drinking minimal amounts and felt nauseous/headachey. Think ill be drinking bottle beer here next time round.

Great atmosphere and superb service. Food generally very good but steak recently very disappointing. Difficult to find fault with a seriously well run top London pub.

I went with my girlfriend and the family for a birthday sunday lunch. Love the decor, love the atmosphere. Food was a let down however, my g/f and her brother both ordered the cheese burger and asked for them well done (she is pregnant). They came out red raw and only warm. When we sent them back they came out againstill pink and even more worryingly her brother's came back with the cheese removed! To be fair the manager was good and removed them from the bill and offered free dessert, but the meal was still a let down by then. Could have been that they were just too busy as it is very cool place and very popular....but not a great excuse.
