This music-oriented venue is an essential part of the Truman Brewery complex. Italian squat renegades and Japanese voyeurs join dog-on-string types and pot-bellied ex-longhairs to partake in pints of Heineken, Amstel and Budvar, or bottles of Kiwi Steinlager, Iberian Sagres and Scottish Innis & Gunn, while DJs spin several nights a week and all day on Sundays.
There’s plenty of room to stretch out in the main lounge and on the front terrace for smokers. Cocktails come by the glass or the four-measure pitcher: the Big Chill Punch of vodka, champagne, passion fruit and white peach purées, for example. House burgers come with beef, chicken and vegetarian options.
