  • I wouldn't recommend going to Newcross Inn to my worst enemy, the service is appalling, the beer glasses are dirty, I became ill the next day after drinking from a beer glass that was served by a reluctant member of staff who didn't want to serve anyone, perhaps the environmental health service need to get involved. The promoters are unprofessional and give out a lot of misleading info, the promoters treat Djs/bands unfairly, I think there needs to be a complete overhaul of bar staff especially promoters, We need new staff members/promoters who know what they are doing. There's a old saying: never send a boy to do a man's job.

  • I wouldn't recommend going to Newcross Inn on my worst enermy, The service is appalling, The glasses are dirty, I became ill the next day after drinking out of a beer glass serviced by one of the staff members who are reluctant to serve you in the first place, the promoters are very unprofessional. They give out a lot of misleading information they treat up and coming Djs/bands unfairly. As a whole Newcross Inn is a very hostile place to be. I'm reluctant to give Newcross Inn any kind of star rating let alone 1 star. Reagrds Wayne coleman

  • I was surprised by the New Cross Inn, I've been told lots about it and thought I'd check it out they have really made an effort to change it up since ive been there a fee years ago. The line up of open mic nights was great, there was a really great vibe and the staff were very nice and looked like they were having just as much fun as everyone else. I'll definatly go back for a good night in New Cross

  • The New Cross Inn could be a good place to go if only the people in charge sorted out what it is they want the place to be. They seem to want to be a music venue, but bands get treated poorly by the promoters. They repeatedly get told to keep the volume down (which makes playing alongside a drum kit awkward) or they'll cut them off. Secondly the promoters don't seem to have any consistent musical policy; if they so desperately want to keep the noise down, why do they book loud, thrashy bands? They can't keep taking out their frustrations on everyone else because their high ceilings reverberate sound so badly; if it's an ongoing issue, either invest in PROPER soundproofing or stop booking live acts. Anything else isn't fair on bands or punters and it just keeps the hostile atmosphere there going.

  • The New Cross Inn is extremely disappointing. The line up was terrible and too loud. Drink prices were alright but I'd rather go to the Amersham Arms or Royal Albert for a better atmosphere. Not impressed.
