  • Nothing good about this restaurant except views! Food is disgusting, probably made from cheapest ingrediens, clearly microwaved!! They probably buy frozen food from Sainsbury's shop nearby, microwave it and then expect customers to pay millions for it, how naive. Drinks are terrible as well. It doesn't worth a pence! Staff was so incompetetive, rude and irespectful, manager is changing them every 2 weeks and don't pay them any money. the manager probably doesn't know how to run a business at all! He doesn't pay money for staff! I was informed, that people had to work there not for 8 but for 12 hours per day with no breaks or days off!! After 2 weeks of hard work manager fired them and didn't pay a pence or picked up a phone! It is abuse of human rights, this restraurant should be closed, someone should do something about it! Staff works their a**** off are left with nothing! That's probably the reason why they are rude with cutomers, because they're tired and unhappy! What a horrible and selfish people are bosses of this restaurant!! The worst place in London with the worst managers! Never ever go there!!

  • First of all the problem was the bosses were bad! They didn't have real staff because they couldn't afford it, so the staff there were atleast kill tell experienced but what costumes don't know is that the workers worked there for 8 hours with no break plus no payment! So obviously the staff were not motivated to do a great job awhile enjoying it.No one would! As workers have to do what their bosses asked them to do. So people can complain about the staff here when it's about the background that sucks. Yes it was a nice place to chill and relax enjoy the view but they are closed now or for now but I wouldn't spend my money there either... They were cool people when it came to conversations but when it came to bussiness it was abuse of human rights as there were no contracts, payments were not correct and at the correct days and almost if not all the staff were not paid... I do feel sorry for the people who actually spent alot of money to go up there. For me it wasn't a pop up bar it was simply a scheme...

  • DO NOT GO! If you are planning to get there with a voucher they don't tell you that you can redeem it only on Wednesdays and Fridays from and only in defined time slots. I took me 4 days and 6 emails to redeem my voucher. In fact they manage to answer emails only after 1am. The day before the booked day the sent me this email: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to cancel you booking for Friday, We apologize for any inconvenience caused." No further reasons were given, nor alternative dates. Nobody answered when called to the number on the website. DO NOT GO!

  • We made a booking with the limited availability given by the merchant We turned up on the time of our agreed booking, only to find that the evening had been cancelled by Jadvents (merchant). We had not received any correspondence or email from them to advise that it was cancelled. I struggled to get a hold of the merchant and was sent a text message saying that ALL people affected were emailed of the cancellation [after realising that their contact number on their website was incorrect…deliberate ploy maybe!!). I responded and requested that they forward evidence of this as I never received an email and other people who had bookings also were not advised of the cancellation as they too had turned up at Sky High only to be advised it was cancelled. I am yet to receive any evidence or apology or anything else. We had some very important guests of some media companies with us and they were gobsmacked!! This place should be closed down!!

  • This is an incredibly poor venue. Rude staff, IKEA like furniture and almost inedible food ruined what is a great view of London, and leaves you asking ‘How annoyed would you be if you spent £97 on this?’. Salty hummus, salty quiches and cheese that tastes like Analogue, all served in extremely small portions, in fact, not only have I never been served salty hummus before, but to receive four small pieces of cheese with just one cracker each and a mound of inedible industrial hummus seems absolutely baffling. Unfortunately, the beverages were not much better either, the wine was pretty bad at best and the safe bet for anybody going would be to just opt for the bottle of Carlsberg Beer. For a voucher night you don't expect a lot in terms of quality and this review may seem like I’m expecting something for nothing. But it is only because the whole evening was so egregious that I feel compelled to write this. The whole bar feels like such a wasted opportunity. If a little time and effort was just put into making the furniture and layout less like a pop-up bar the atmosphere would be improved greatly. Likewise, the view is the main selling point and you’d be happy with just a decent selection of wines and beers and food that is of a good standard – it doesn’t have to be anything amazing – combine that with polite staff and you’d feel drawn to go back again. I sincerely hope that if you pay the full value of £97 you get something that matches the view on offer. Otherwise, don't waste your money!

  • I totally agree with the other disppointed reviewers and only wish I had read them before buying the voucher from Time Out. Even at the discounted price of £20 this was a rip off! 4 cocktails and 6 canapes somehow translated into poor quality bellinis (no other cocktails available) and a plate of 2 water biscuits, a few slices of processed cheese, a blob of Hummous, 3 grapes and 2 slithers of warm quiche. Staff incompetent. Call me back when I've finished laughing and take me off the mailing list now! If I could give this place 0 points I would. Oh, did I mention the appallingly uncomfortable seats?

  • On reading reviews before we went for dinner I was little concerend as to what we would encounter, but knowing that we had spent our money on a discount voucher, were were prepared for whatever came our way..My wife and I went there for our wedding annivesray, we had brought a voucher from one of those discount websites ( Can't rememebr which one) On arrval the recpetionist was very polite and made us feel very welcome. On exiting the lift we were greated by our waitress who lead us to our table , even while we hopped from table to table deciding on the best place to sit she remained polite, patient and humoured us. The decor was minimal and simple which we liked. The menu was simple but nice and we agreed that the prices per dish were not that bad and we would be more than happy to pay the normal price for the meals. The service only faultered once it became busier. This would be my only critism I think a few extra hands on deck would help solve this problem. The mamangement were polite to us as were the other members of staff who served us. I feel that the recpetionist who was serving us was put under alot of unnecessary presure due to lack of staff. the only downside of the evening was that sat behind us were two of the most disgusting girls I have ever encountered! from the outset we could hear every word of their conversation which basically consisted of thm conspiring to get free drinks and a refund for their voucher by complaining! They were served by the same waitress as us, and treated her so badly for their own personal gain that she was a nervous wreck afterwards. We told her what we heard and she inturn told her manager who politly asked them to leave. For anyone wishing to visit the Sky Lounge, please remember that this only a simple place , just because it is on a floor overlooking the city don't expect to much especially as majoriy of people who have slated it have paid a discount rate anyway. I for one would would be more than happy to visit this establishment again and feel that we treated in a very professional manner.

  • Don't waste your time or money (even if getting what seems to be a reasonable voucher).. EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF who were unreasonable to a friend when she politely asked if she had to pay entrance at 6pm even though she would not be claiming her "free drink".. Totally unprofessional- especially manager Dean!
