'Comer, beber, dancar' or 'eat, drink, dance' is the USP at Shoreditch's Floripa. And they deliver too: decent cocktails (try the lemon daiquiri), good food and live music are all served up within a tropical decor. Their Sunday roast with a Brazilian twist – picanha (top sirloin) beef and pão de queijo (cheese bread) yorkshire pudding – is worth investigating’. Weekends see the place opening until 3am with DJs spinning funk, reggae, disco and '50s rock ’n’ roll on various nights.

What an adorable find! I was so suprised by the charming decor as I entered the bar that I never wanted to leave!
Gives a nice kick to the end of the day in gloomy London weather and takes you somewhere... erm... well ...more tropical!
Bright, fun and vibrant bar. Enjoyed the cocktails and some small bites. Visited on a weekday evening and there was a live band performing, which added to a casual atmosphere. A little loud with the live music if you're looking for somewhere to have an intimate conversation, if not it's a fun place to hang out. When good weather strikes the tables spill outdoors for some alfresco drinking and dinning.
We were just passing by on Saturday and decided to pop in and check it out. 6 hours later the lights were coming on. Not only had we partied the night away, we also had some of the most delicious Brazilian food I have ever eaten, met the chef who is from Brazil and run through most of the cocktail menu. I will definitely be back!!
Had a night out with my partner just to celebrate a week end.
This space is great!
Great traditional Brazilian food ,I had the steak it was juicy and moist my partner had the fish moqueca.
Than the passion fruit mousse and papaya closed our night.
It looked busy but the staff managed to make the customers happy.
About money vs value I would say that is pretty good considering the location.
What an amazing venue. happened to stumble upon it last night when a group of us were looking for some midweek cocktails and bites to eat. we were absolutely blown away by the music they had on, think it was an event called Jam Tart. they had great platters and a selection of tapas dishes and a good range for vegetarians. the staff were really helpful. will definitely be coming back here, think this will be my summer hang out.
Awful Experience, food was bland and shocking service; got told by the waitress to be unable to order because they were serving other tables – ridiculous- we went to celebrate my friend’s birthday and by 9 we were told to vacate the table – in an unacceptable rude way- because it was book previously when we did book the table months in advance.
The menu is not the same in the web that the one they give you when you're going to order. If you get there after 9, even though you have a booking and you are going to have dinner, you are charged with 5 extra pound to go into. The waitress sat down in our table to write down our order in a paper napkin (!!!). Food very normal, nothing extraordinary and some portions weren't kind of short. The cocktails are from miles away the best of this place. From our point of view It was not a good restaurant, it was just a pretentious club....just a wannabe!
When my party arrived we were instantly struck by the decoration and we were rapidly whisked away to Brazil with delicious tapas (you have order a couple of dishes per person), superb cocktails and very help staff. Before we new it the table had been abandoned and we were dancing to a crazy Dj who played everything from D&B, classical, cheese, dance and everything you can think of! It was an epic night and we will definitely be back!!!
Good cocktails. Shame about the rude manager. I went here thinking we'd get discount with the Taste card. Unfortunately we hadn't t booked in advance so had to pay full price for the food. It was pretty average and definitely not worthy of the full menu price for the quality and size of the portions.
