Jamies has recently revamped its Bishopsgate branch to make it sleeker, and the Mayfair outpost to give it a townhouse feel. Jamies venues have less of a try-hard style bar atmosphere now, and the wine list has greatly improved over the past year thanks to a new buyer joining the company. The New World dominates in all venues, and there’s an extensive by-the-glass selection totalling 26 wines. Food is a hotchpotch of trad-British, Italian and pub styles.
