You don't need to be vegetarian to eat here, but it helps. Established in 1995, Planet Organic has branches in Fulham, W1's Torrington Place and this Bayswater outlet on Westbourne Grove, where diners queue for hot dishes such as vegan tofu stir-fry and vegetable lasagne, vegetarian shepherd's pie, and side dishes including roast tatties. Food is sensibly priced by tub size rather than weight; even the small £2.80 container (the largest is £5.80) holds plenty of tucker. In the chiller cabinets are sushi, wraps and salads from outside companies. If you're feeling flush treat yourself to some of the range of fun American snacks made from sesame seeds, almonds and the like. Clive's gluten-free cakes (made with proper ingredients like almond flour rather than ersatz flours) are utterly delicious too.
