Few market bars have this range of beers or ambitious quality of cuisine. In an invariably cramped main bar area - there'll be more room in the back - market traders and regulars gather around taps of Okell's Maclir, Vale Brewery Best, Acorn Brewery Kashmir, Harveys Best, Lund's Bitter, although most will be glugging the standard lager. There are choices from Greenwich's Meantime Brewery too. A dextrous hand in the kitchen is revealed by Swedish crayfish with apple salad, and pancetta welsh rarebit; ingredients are sourced as much as possible from next-door Borough market.
