London's best review, food and drink news
This quiet Moroccan-inspired venue, subtly lit by flickering lanterns, is more of a restaurant than a boozer, which is in keeping with its laid-back feel. There's an impressive list of cocktails: six sparkling varieties, including a Fez Flute of Tanqueray gin, Lanique rose petal vodka, strawberry purée and prosecco; ten long drinks (£7.50) featuring a Moroccan Rose of Wyborowa Rose, triple sec and pomegranate; a rather odd Pimm's called Marrakech Mystery (Smirnoff Black, Drambuie and muddled strawberries); and a dozen or so short drinks (£6.50) and martinis (£8). There are standard Moroccan dishes on the menu and a beer called, appropriately enough, Casablanca in the fridge.
