The Three Stags has been through a turbulent period of late. Following an ill-advised flirtation with admitting diners only, new ownership has seen it recapture its clientele. During the day its location next to the Imperial War Museum attracts a touristy bunch, while evenings see a younger crowd attracted by an impressive range of draught beers including Leffe, Amstel, Hoegaarden, Peroni and Heineken, alongside Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale and Ruddles. 'Chaplin's corner' is a wooden booth homage to Charlie's father, who allegedly drank himself into oblivion here.
