Manga art and retro computer games feature above, and downstairs a brash mural of Tokyo by night offers something to gawp at while DJs spin a laid-back house and electro mix (most nights of the week). Ginseng beer complements the Sapporo, Kirin and draught Asahi, chased by sakés from Azeki (£5) to Yancha (£12). Sushi, sashimi and tempura comprise the 30-strong snack list, and a list of 25 cocktails (£7-£7.50) includes specialities such as a saké sling. Low, communal seating upstairs fosters a conspiratorial atmosphere.
