Market Place
The Market Place on this busy pedestrianised square of terrace eateries tries to give its young(ish) urban clientele global variety. Draught Erdinger Weissbier, Budvar and Amstel and bottled Sagres, Moretti and Duvel represent six EU members, not to mention the fat litre bottles of Cruzcampo (£6.50), and the South American streetfood slant to the menu. Upstairs, decked out in rough planks of wood, is for brunching, lunching and munching post-work; downstairs, DJs get to work every evening. There’s wine too, a Rioja Livor Viña Ijalba (£17.50) or a Chablis Antique Jean-Marc Brocard (£24.50). The ten cocktails (£6-£7) include a bellini with Moët Imperial and a Mango Royale with Russian Dovgan vodka, both flavoured with the appropriate Funkin fruit purée.
