London's best review, food and drink news
Part pub, part museum piece, the galleried George Inn consists of a number of interconnecting bars, upstairs function rooms and a wide courtyard where you expect horses to be tethered. Instead tourists fill much of the space, although local workers take their lunch breaks here, laying into the likes of steak and ale pie. As well as the house variety, ales include Greene King IPA, Abbot and Old Speckled Hen, Peroni is the surprising lager choice, and there are 14 wines by the bottle.

As an amateur stand-up comedian we should have plenty of laughs. Easy going, interesting and interested, caring and fun. Slim and fairly good...
