Despite its pleasantly polished feel, subterranean E Bar never seems overrun with customers. In fact, if you're looking for a place to chat in relative peace and quiet, as well as a guaranteed seat on a Friday or Saturday night, you could do worse than descend the glass-lined steps to this tapas bar and cocktail lounge (there's alfresco seating available at ground level). Cocktails are of a high standard, the soft seating is abundant and the tasty tapas selection extensive - just don't expect to fall in love with the place.
