• Bar Polski

  • A neat, modern space that mutates from Polish café during the day into something resembling a crowded student bar at night. The likes of pierogis, bigos, sandwiches, Polish sausages and baked cheesecake are available anytime, but by the evening all anyone's interested in are the vodkas. These are divided into 'dry and interesting', which produced Zlota Jesien (a humdinger described as a Polish Calvados); 'clean and clear'; 'kosher'; and 'nice and sweet' - try Lancut rose petal (delicious if you like turkish delight). Most shots cost £2.50. Polish brandy, sliwowica and Polish lagers and ciders are further options.
