The George IV is without doubt Chiswick's liveliest pub, with a young clientele drawn here by the live music and the famous Headliners Comedy Club, which in the past has played host to the likes of Harry Hill and Bill Bailey. Week nights are popular with couples and young professionals, while Friday nights have a particular buzz and also a noticeable lack of available seats (but fortunately no sticky floors). The lively bar team are usually students and Australians. This Fuller's house offers London Pride, London Porter, Discovery, Old Winter Ale and ESB on draught, while an easy-drinking pinot grigio (£14.50 a bottle, £3.05 a glass) is the bestselling wine.
