• Electric Brasserie

  • Though only opened a few years ago, the Electric has a classic brasserie look - right down to the beautiful mosaic tiled floor and long zinc bar. There's a fine array of bottles behind the bar, a lengthy wine list (available by the glass, bottle and carafe), plus Guinness on tap. Most tables are laid for eating (food, cooked in an open kitchen, is quality stuff), but there are lots of stools along the bar and some tables at the front of the premises for drinking; these are great for people watching. Set into the wall, near these tables, is the smallest TV screen we've seen in a bar.
