The Pilot is more gastro than pub. This is probably no bad thing, particularly for the locals who come to this small, residentially situated hostelry for a quiet pint or cosy meal. There seems to be a real emphasis on dining; on a Friday night about 80 per cent of punters were eating. The clientele is largely corporate lunchers from the nearby Chiswick Business Park and well-heeled locals in the evening and weekends. The food is excellent and it shows; getting a table on a weekend night is no easy feat. The decor is modern yet rustic - large wooden tables, wooden pews and stripped wood floors, with a very popular beer garden out the back. On tap this Fuller's pub serves London Pride and Honey Dew.
