Cinnamon Club
Set in the old Westminster Library, this upscale Indian establishment comprises a restaurant and two bars. One lends itself to the quiet sipping of a fine whisky; the other is sleek and contemporary. Bollywood movies play across a wall while black-shirted staff mix serious cocktails. The signature selection (£9-£10) continues the theme: a Rupee Rush involves Manor Farm sloe gin and microbrewed ginger beer; a Cricket Club mixes Canadian bourbon, Drambuie and Vermouth with a green tea and kola nut infusion sold separately as a Cricket. Martinis (£8-£9) come in pomegranate, cardamom and lychee varieties. Bottled beers include a rice one from Laos (£4) and double fermented King Cobra (£15). Platters (£8-£12) of seafood, meat and vegetarian delicacies are predictably classy.

Food keeps us going back although it is expensive. Waiter service is erratic, surprisingly poor choice on none alcoholic drinks, Not very atmospheric, very corporate diner!! But great food.
