It’s as easy as ABC. A vast selection (£6.50-£7.80) of cocktails, long drinks, classic drinks and batidas involve enough high-end spirits (Grey Goose L’Orange, Ketel One Citron, Sagatiba cachaça, Hendrick’s gin) and carefully sourced flavours (Amazonian superfruits acerola and acal berry, fresh berries, rose syrup) to satisfy the most jaded Soho-ite. Beers, bottled only, include Warsteiner, Budvar and Tiger. Wines, 16 by the bottle, eight by the glass, feature a Barolo Ravello (£25) and a Chablis La Colombe (£23). The decor is interesting: a rotating exhibition space in the airy, street-level bar; signature A-Z floor map in the lived-in basement where DJs spin. Finally, the food – snacks and mains from the kitchen hatch upstairs – hits the spot.
