London's best review, food and drink news
Very much part of the gentrified Salusbury Road scene (organic foodshops by the shedload), this gastropub is a firm favourite with NW6's media types, young families and the odd C-list celeb. With its happy-go-lucky, welcoming feel, it's the sort of place where you wander in off the street looking for directions and leave four hours later having made friends with the bar staff and tucked into a damn fine gastro supper. Food has a northern Italian rustic vibe ideally combined with something from the extensive and well-chosen wine list. Ample choice on tap extends to Franziskaner, Peetermans Artois, Adnams, Guinness and Aspall Suffolk Cyder.
