Time Out has teamed up with tastelondon to offer you a fantastic one month free trial
One of the pioneers of London’s new breed of supper clubs, Volupté caters for people who don’t mind blowing £20 on a burlesque show. The ground-floor bar might be part of a 1980s office block, but it still thinks it’s a swish NYC cocktail bar. Down the opulent stairwell is a Moulin Rouge-style basement; ivy leaves hang from the ceiling and candlelit tables are gathered around a piano. DJ El Nino runs dressed-up vintage nights here, and there are cabaret shows galore (Wed-Sat). Admission prices are for the shows, and the top price includes a meal. Entrance to the bar is free.

I had the most wonderful time tonight! We were raving about the show, food and cocktails all the way home... Mmm... Cocktailshhhh! They have a great new menu too, I had the cod and the boyf had the beef (both very tasty and well cooked). I met the owner too, what they are doing here is something special. Soo coming back here, going to bring the girls next time!xxx
This place is tops for a fun night out with the girlahs- dress vintage glamour, enjoy the speakeasy atmosphere and the saucy show and kick your heels off to get on down to some rockin' tunes after the show. The bar upstairs does some fab cocktails and the place is so intimate, it ain't long before you're on talk/jiving terms with everyone in the joint. Food not posh but perfectly fine to prepare yourself for the frivolities.
I had such a wonderful time here with a group of gal pals.
Fantastic cocktails, food and the entertainment was top-notch!
I hope to introduce others to the wonderful world that is Volupte!
Horrible food, miserable staff, so-so show. Skip the show and just have a cocktail in the bar.
