London's best review, food and drink news
With venues in Singapore and, er, on the Red Sea, not to mention compilations released every month of the year, the Ministry of Sound makes no bones about being a mega-successful clubbing brand. The four rooms of its London base let promoters spend a pretty penny booking up talent; the Gallery shifted its hard house and trance nights here when Turnmills closed; and other nights bring mainstream urban and house sounds, and superstar DJs earning silly money to play to an international crowd. If you can spare £75 per person (you get £60 in drinks), buy a VIP table for a night and walk straight past the queues.
