It’s not been a good year for Old Street’s three-floored, no-frills party space. Police and licensing problems saw the flight of its strongest nights and, coupled with some punters complaining that door charges were simply too much for a place more shabby than chic, the notorious queues aren’t much of a problem any longer. Let’s hope the coming year is kinder to this Shoreditch stalwart.
