  • You'll need to pick your night at this bijou cocktail bar tucked into a Georgian townhouse. When it's busy, it retains the exclusive yet accessible vibe that once defined it. When it's not, as on the night we visited, it's quite a forlorn place: too many staff with too little to do, over-bright lighting, iffy music, and, for no good reason, a big screen showing what appeared to be David Attenborough's The Life of Birds. The cocktails are very good and fairly priced, but the dated menu design only reinforces the feeling that the place could do with a spring clean.
