Bars & Pubs

  • This fashion-themed bar is an irony-free shrine to celebrity culture. Your journey to fantasy land commences with a trip down a Big Brother-style raised walkway, with giant screens blasting fashion TV, while a red carpet that is frequently used for catwalk shows runs the length of the bar. Flaming torches, stuffed giraffes and bamboo panelling add a rather incongruous colonial twist, but the fame game continues with the name-dropping drinks menu. The Hollywood champagne cocktail (£11) is allegedly Prince William's favourite, while the mojito Especial is the Chelsea football team's choice of tipple (£10). There's an impressive range of bubbly, from £10 a glass to a Bollinger jereboam at £1,100. The wine list plays it safe, but there's a more extensive range on offer in the mezzanine-level restaurant, which does a mix of Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes.
