Time Out has teamed up with tastelondon to offer you a fantastic one month free trial
A marvellous neighbourhood boozer. Through a red-curtained entrance, cherry banquettes surround a neat bar counter, a fireplace, timeless pub paraphernalia and no little frosted glass. A set of bar prices is listed from, of all months, July 1966, while a back room contains a dartboard behind wooden shutters. Greene King IPA, Shepherd Neame Spitfire, Fuller's London Pride, Young's and Adnams are the beers of choice now - it would have been 1/6d pale ale when England last won the World Cup - with San Miguel as the draught lager choice. A chiming clock breaks occasional conversation.
